From my experience, tuner modules are more or less the same, at least they worked very fine (a bit faster, better and neater:)) out of the box when I upgraded from 2.4.21.

I live in Norway and I need to hand-adjust contrast/colors with every channel. I'm off-topic now. :-)

Where are you? Sorry about that, I couldn't figure out your .domain

Another big change in 2.6 is that ide-scsi module isn't needed anymore. k3b already supports new 2.6 kernel atapi devices addresses.

Shock! Does that mean I must decide which kernel to run all the time? I use to loiter until the next Slackware releases....

These are my encountered 2 cents of 2.6 kernel. In my opinion, 2.6 kernel is really sweet. :)

I still have keyboard hangs and stuff. Flightgear runs until I play dart, then what...

What I did was feeding .configure from kernel 2.4.22 to 2.6.1, is it sane enough or not so good?

FWIW I'm glad Nvidia made their driver good for 2.6

That's my 2.6 c worth. ;-)

Roger Andreassen,
Norway.
