Hello,
I find the fgfs command line 'reference' a bit confusing. When you call
# ~> fgfs --help --verbose
.... then you get a whole lot of possible parameters, but you still don't
know what the defaults are or which parameter you have to set to achive
a change in behaviour. For example an unexperienced user who's looking
at the corresponding output
[...]
--disable-random-objects Exclude random scenery objects
(buildings, etc.)
--enable-random-objects Include random scenery objects
(buildings, etc.)
[...]
.... will have difficulties to determine which one represents the
default. I'd like to submit a 'RFD' with the aim to get the output
changed to something I've seen at several different places:
osprey: 15:46:31 /usr/local/src/openldap-2.2.7> ./configure --help
Copyright 1998-2004 The OpenLDAP Foundation. All rights reserved.
[...]
--enable-bdb enable Berkeley DB backend [yes]
--with-bdb-module module type static|dynamic [static]
[...]
Especially for newbies, but also for all the others who can't remember
all the options, the suggested notation will be much easier to
understand,
Martin.
