Hi, Curt has just committed my Bendix/King KAP140 Two axis autopilot. It is available in the default C172 3d cockpit and 2d panel. Please try it out. I have no hands-on experience with the KAP140, so there might (rather _will_) be some things that I haven't got right. Please let me know!
The Pilot Guide for the KAP140 is freely available (12M PDF file) from the Bendix/King website: http://www.bendixking.com Read it to learn how to operate the autopilot. Note that it describes three versions of the KAP140, and that I've implemented the two axis version. Also note that in the REV mode one should set the heading bug to the backcourse not the frontcourse as instructed in the guide. This pilot guide was my only source for creating the autopilot. I would also like to mention that I've use Nasal extensively, and that it allowed me to do things that probably would not have been possible using only XML configuration files.
