That's an old bug that is fixed in cvs and will be part of 0.9.7. As a
workaround, you can comment out or remove any bindings in your js config
that refer to non existent axes (and, although unlikely, maybe even buttons).

If the fgjs program says that your js has only 4 axes (0--3), then remove
all bindings for axes 4, 5, 6, ...)
