Ok. SimGear is a bit more liberal. After all, many/most reports are generated by humans, and I didn't want to throw the whole message away because of a minor defect. What sg requires is: station id and date, and a minimum of 4 valid groups altogether. Garbage ends a string, but doesn't invalidate it. The unparsed parts can be read out (red text in $ metar -v kabe). I'm relative strict in the group order and will probably ease these restrictions a bit. > With no sky report, FG showed the default scattered condition. Really? It shouldn't display scattered by default if METAR is on. Only CAVOK should creat a scattered layer. > Still wonder why the missing field seemed > to confuse the initial conditions, Couldn't it be that the 40km/h gusting wind made problems? m. _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@flightgear.org http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel 2f585eeea02e2c79d7b1d8c4963bae2d
