If you start FG from a command shell (and bypass the graphical launcher) I believe the output will go to the command shell, which won't close when FG dies. That's how it used to work anyway, I'm not 100% sure about the current windows build. Perhaps Fred can make a suggestion here if I'm way off.


Even when FG for windows dies, the output stay on screen because it shares its console with fgrun. This is true since 0.9.8.
