That sounds like a great idea.  This would be extracted from stuff 
that I'm flogging to the Dead Tree Media, so I'm a bit leery of 
making it completely open, but something fairly restricted, like the 
Newsletter, should be O.K.
There isn't a lot of easy to find information on these matters, and 
I'd like to help.  FlightGear/YASim/JBSSim is a fantastic project, 
and if I can contribute, I'd be thrilled.
Modeling reciprocating engines  makes you appreciate jets.  When you 
start chasing solutions, it gets very complicated, very fast, until 
you end up with something like the Late Epicyclic Models of the Solar 
System.  I've been after it quite literally for more than a decade 
with my own sims.
