There's also GnomeMeeting which uses H.323 (I think via an external library). The biggest problems I see are doing multicasting and automatic hook-up with people "flying" in the same area. Oh, and making sure the I/O is done using a cross-platform library. Ideally I suppose this should be done as a separate project so other apps can make use of it. All the parts are there, but it sounds like a large amount of glue and polish to do it well.
