Ha, this is the nature of political decisions :-)
And sometimes after the decision is made actually nothing happens:
There has been a battle for several years wether EDLN should get its
runway prolonged or not. Now they will decide in the near future that
the airport operator will get the permission to extend the runway but
finally it will remain unchanged ....
