I'm talking about the in-cockpit view of the default 3D c172, both the last released and the CVS version. When idling holding in the position, one can hear the ATIS, but on the climbout, with the slipstream and the high RPM noise, one can't. > this for the 2d panel c172 though yet, but probably will if there are no > objections. I'd like to make a better original recording one day. Actually, this is very realistic for the loudspeaker setup :-) As for the ATIS recording, I dream to have one day as many as possible REAL controllers speak it for us. It is amazing how comfortable in the real life to hear a familiar controller voice, esp. in the vicinity of bad wx or aircraft problems :-) I am sure that some controller folks in r.a.student would be happy to help. > One thing that was apparent originally was that the relative ATIS volume > compared to the engine noise was a lot louder on Windows than on Linux. > At the time I made the recording I was running FG on Windows only, and > set the volume for that platform. I'm a Linux only guy, and can't verify it on Windows. :-) V. _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel 2f585eeea02e2c79d7b1d8c4963bae2d
