This is now working. I have defined three voice groups with better voices: "us[123]_mbrola". One should be able to use any of the voices from here: http://tcts.fpms.ac.be/synthesis/mbrola/mbrcopybin.html So I can now make atc, pilot and copilot speak with different voices.
