I am running today's CVS. Ok, that took me a while now. I observed that problem too. I did review the code over and over again ... I did dump the scenegraph and examine that with osgedit ... The code appears to be ok. The scenegraph is ok ...
Why did nobody ask if I have installed the same scenery on both test machines? :-( That is finally the problem. What is available in the world scenery is a little bit different than what is there in the cvs data directory. One of my machines has the world scenery installed the other one has not. The altitude difference in these scenery tiles for KSFO is what we see ... When both are identical, everything looks sane.
