Hi Mathias, I have also observed that if you start in or "warp" to an area to which you don't have the tiles and models, your plane is positioned at sea level. I guess the authoritative copy of the scenery is the server that terrasync uses by default. I'm not sure of a quick way to check if a user has an old version of the tile (md5 hash comparison?) and then how to alert the user.
