Hi,
I am running CVS, I have updated today (Apr 8 ~ 16:30 EDT). Gentoo
Linux, with a Radeon 7500 64 Meg video card.
I have been trying to fly off LSTS runway 14.
This place is deep in a valley surrounded by gorgeous mountains.
I needed to gain altitude a.s.a.p. So, I set 10 degree flaps, rev up to
maximum let go, rotate at 60-65. I should expect a climb rate of 700
fpm. But I get nothing near to that. I noticed that as the plane sits on
the runway full throttle cannot get the engine higher than 2200 rpm. In
my earlier trials I remember getting up to 2400-2500 by just holding
throttle up down a few seconds. Something has changed.
Failing to get the performance I need from C172P, I decided to try
C172R, it seg faulted with this output:
