As some of you may know, I am involved in supporting simulator development in my "day job", as are many of you. I got a tour of some simulator components that I had not seen before. One that I saw yesterday is used for training for proximity operations between the space station and other spacecraft. Yesterday the presentation showed a new CEV design docking with the ISS. The ISS model was jarringly realistic. Special attention is paid to decals and small labels on the outside of the station because apparently the same model is used for EVA training (spacewalks). The space station model is composed of over 1.2 million polygons. I'll see if I can get a screen dump.
