Hi Martin,
due to the *unregularly* receiving of FG mails I just saw this mail from
the FlightGear *users-mailing-list*.
As you had this Thrustmaster Fox 2 Pro USB joystick working on the
LinuxTag under a Linux system you may be able to help the user.
Please reply on the *FG users-mailing-list* as I am not sure whether
Thorolf is also reading the develops mailing list.

Hi,
It's mostly impossible to play FG on the keyboard of my laptop because
there is no num-pad which is needed for several basic functions.
So I bought the same joystick they used on the LinuxTag (Thrustmaster
Fox 2 Pro USB) and connected it to my Laptop and it's working more or
less now.
But there are still some keys I can't reach, f.ex. changing the view
direction (Shift 1-4 and 6-9) but on the joystick there are still
several keys unused!
At the top of the stick there is a 4-way-switch that could be used very
good for the view-change or one of the firekeys for toggeling the HUD f.ex.
If I anderstood correctly these changes can be made in the xml for the
joystick, are there further informations how to do it? Or does anybody
already has a xml for this joystick that does the wanted things?
Are there plane-models some where for a "Super Dimona" (mototrized
glider) and "ROBIN DR 400"?
Are there more detailed Sceneries for the "Rhein-Main-Gebiet" and the
"Hochtaunus" in Germany?
