That's an unfortunate bug due to old/broken bios with some old
machines. Apparently LILO might work.
On the other hand, I don't know if your machine is really capable of
running FG? (Anyone?)
NO it's not...not that one anyway..... I suspect the video card isn't upto
it (won't even run Age of Empires I because of the video card).

In fact around here it's cheaper to get CDR's ;)
1 x CD-R @ $2 ea x 5 = 1 x CD-RW @ $10 ea

I gather FGLive is based around >=FGv0.9.9 ...it loads further from the
FGLive CD than it ever did under Windows Me ...so maybe that would indicate
that it's not a purely hardware issue.
