This is not a problem. The file autosave.xml will be created for you the first time FGFS successfully exits. I can reproduce this using a command line of "fgfs --fdm=yasim" Try launching fgfs from a command line window, or make sure whichever frontend you are using is not trying to force an FDM. Also make sure that you don't have an .fgfsrc file (what is the windows name for this) forcing an FDM choice.
