OK, I agree with everything you say. Unfortunately I don't speak C++ well enough to do that. I will move this code int the ch53e's nasal file, and change it when tacan.cxx gets fixed. In the future, it may be a good idea to have this function anyway, since it seems that different TACAN sets have very different interfaces. The function would serve as a hook that could be bound by anyone who is either an unnaturally huge fan of changing TACAN channels, or has way too many keys and buttons to play with.
