Not easier, but IMHO not harder either. The first patch releases made it *a lot* harder. But the last one makes flying more enjoyable, and almost easier (I hope *this* doesn't disappoint people! :-) Because of the faster sink rate, it's IMHO easier to land precisely -- you don't have to fly in circles just to come down. And if you have the new cockpit view manager enabled, then it's even easier (while increasing realism). It moves the view up/down & left/right, similar to how you would move your head in real life.
