Just some info here on how to reproduce the fatal error when switching views.
1) Take off from some place where you don't have the terrain. 2) switch to next view by hitting the "V" key I get this: Attempting to schedule tiles for bogus lon and lat = (-1000,0) This is a FATAL error. Exiting! As long as I stay in cockpit view I'm fine, and can look around and see water, as I expect.
