I downloaded the osg flightgear tar ball and compiled per the README.txt

libgif is installed.
rpm -q libgif
giflib-4.1.3-6.2.1
Searching for gif_lib.h indicates it is nowher on my computer. I am
running FC5.
Any ideas?
