As with yesterdays CVS I see some advantages for content developers. First thing I noticed is that the nasty ".ac Object sorting" is not necessary in OSG. Models exported from Blender work right out of the box, without the need to resort the Objects to fix transparency bugs. Another point is, Crew member models added by an include .xml file were not visible from the outside in plib. Also external stores I added to the 109 were invisible when looked at through the propdisk. That was a nasty shortcoming of plib, which kept me from releasing these features. This all displays perfectly now, which is imho a promising start for FG-OSG. It makes content developers work easier. Of course there are lots of things broken (firing the guns of the F4U or spitfire crahes FG immediately, removing the smoke submodels helps a bit). But as this is a development version I will wait patiently for the fixes. ... my personal opinion Greetings Detlef > The CVS head isn't just for code jockeys like us, and treating it like > it is is a sure way to cheese off our content developers, as witnessed > by this thread. > > Andy > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
