Hi,
I just did some further tests with the LAST NEW OSG version from Mathias and
GOOD NEWS, really improved framerates
(test details as already reported, not important for now as same for old
OSG/ new OSG version):
Old OSG
Last, new OSG
KSFO, runway start 46 62
KSFO, short after takeoff 50 69
KSFO, crossing terminals 45 55
(only short decreased, variable to higher rates)
Ok, this has already been reported by another member of the list (sorry,
don't remember who it was) and I can confirm.
The OSG rates cannot catch up to PLIB until now but the difference is
much smaller, especially during normal flight. The object-loading
procedure is still the weak point but I am sure Mathias will do further
improvements!
