Anyway, in the meanwhile I've managed in creating a nice animation for the C172 front wheel. Take a look at http://www.laubfrosch.it/public/tmp/FGFS_C172_Wheel.avi Now it's time to apply proper texturing to the geometry and finding a way to remove the original wheel strut out of the C172 model without breaking the .ac file.
