But there should be. A year ago I posted a patch to make the gear compression on the 737 work. It was only two lines as the compression is computed in JSBSim but just not published as property. http://www.mail-archive.com/flightgear-devel@flightgear.org/msg36169.html I'd guess it was never added to stand alone JSBSim and so vanished when it got updated to 2.0.
