The thought occurs to me, and I don't know if anyone else thought of it...

This fellow (and presumably others) are offering FG on ebay as a digital 
download. Are they hosting the download themselves or are they simply 
linking to flightgear.org and adding load to the server? If they're 
hosting it themselves, I can reasonably presume that they're charging 
for "the cost of distribution" (the ebay fees are part of this as well). 
However, if they're simply linking to the fg website, that gets into 
mighty shaky legal ground, and may, in fact, possibly be dealt with 
extra-GPL (ie A written order to the violators that they must host the 
software themselves for instance, since it doesn't violate the GPL in 
and of itself.)

A scientist claims in court that the reason he ran a red light is that, due to
