If you use an old release I'm not surprised you wouldn't find any vaguely recent developments. In fact, I used grep(1) myself just now to locate the file name for you :-) > The word "stopwatch" does not appear in the documentation, i.e. > http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/flightgear/ftp/Docs/getstart.pdf > I just re-checked. One shouldn't expect the documentation of a project like this to be 100% up to date, especially when referring to fairly trivial features. Development happens quite quickly in FGFS and great new features are being added all the time. It's well worth running a CVS version to keep abreast of them... > > You can find the code in gui/dialogs/stopwatch.xml > Not on my machine you can't. I had honestly thought that giving both the menu entry location and digging out the file name was being quite helpful... > Also, a truly nice stopwatch would be documented somewhere. I have to say that I'm not sure whether to be amused or a bit annoyed that I'm being accused (by implication) of lying about this... Still, it's nice to see such faith in our documentation... perhaps you can provide Martin or Stuart with a patch documenting this feature to save others suffering from the same disappointment you've experienced :-) Cheers, AJ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
