After a very fun evening testing this patch, can we work out a path for this to go into CVS? I appreciate that it would be very good if it could be done in as FDM-agnostic a manner as possible... Mathias (or anyone else), do you have any suggestions or specific requests on this point? The experience both of towing a glider, and being towed by another pilot over MP is amazing. When flying the towplane, one can "feel" the slack being taken up in the towrope and the extra drag of the glider - and all the other more dangerous forces that can arise too, unless the weak link breaks or the tow is released... For the glider pilot, the yasim surface type enhancements mean there is some very lifelike bumping for a second or two as the tow starts, followed by all the forces the towplane exerts on the glider. The winch launching alone is a great addition, but the extra dimension taken on with MP aerotows really has to be experienced...
