Ah, yes, very newly present.

Here is the patch to remove my "semblance of a transponder"
to make way for Ron Jensen's vastly nicer transponder.

This is a patch against the CVS from a few minutes ago.
This can be applied before or after the patch Ron submitted
this morning.
