Not exactly. In HTML the alt attribute is mandatory and everyone who surfs with text browsers or screen readers knows why. So a better fix would be: - - ALT="e000n00 48.44 Mb 1/17/2006" + alt="e000n00" title="e000n00 48.44 Mb 1/17/2006" As the image shown is best described by the tile's location and additional info is shown in it's title. This should be safe to use for any browser known to mankind. And don't say, that no one using a flight simulator surfs in text browsers ;) It's nice to let large downloads run in a screen session on some server and picking it up when it's finished.
