Well, the bitmap creation in itself is not a problem. My question is:
can this kind of windows be programmed, let's say, with GTK+? As I don't
know if I can get rid of the title bar and the gray buttons and the
standard widgets and the standard look. I don't know if such a window
with that precise look can be programmed using GTK+ libraries or I
should go for a more graphical libraries (OpenGL or whatever). That is
my question. There will be other windows in the application which should
have a standard look, but this one should be very "gaugish".

I don't think nasal scripting will do, as I need to do a separate C++
application, out of FG.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.
