Looking at the top of soundmgr_openal.cxx you can see there is some magic needed to get isnan. This is of particular interest: #if defined (__CYGWIN__) #include <ieeefp.h> #endif Verify that the __CYGWIN__ macro is defined, that you have ieeefp.h and that it exports isnan.
