I'm writing this from memory as the first posting didn't make it ....

I'd like to point at some minor nit in the A-10: The 3D model includes
a reference to some 'blackout' scenario from another aircraft, the
Hunter - which makes the A-10 not self-contained. If people would
download just the A-10 from the FlightGear site but not the Hunter,
then they'll get a non-working 3D model.

It would be easy to simply just copy the two relevant files from the
Hunter, but this solution is not very elegant. Just do a:

  # ~> grep blackout Aircraft/*/Models/*.xml

and you'll find out that a wide range of aircraft contains an identical
blackout.xml file and most of these, except two (I think the Spitfire
plus another one), include the identical blackout.ac file as well.
In my opinion such scenario should be shared and all affected aircraft
Models should point at this shared location.

Does such thing belong into the "Instruments" folder ?
