My primary intention is to build only the hgtchop program with its 
dependencies, not all simgear and terragear, which are already built on 
64bits (AMD64), just install a "lite" simgear. 
Because I don't need rendering or something like that. all works perfectly on 
64bits natively, except hgtchop of course.

But even with all dependencies, and a build without error, it doesn't work as 
expected. the tile is plate
