A very good point!

FYI - the control is generally called the "control bar", or if including
the attachment to the wing pivot "A-frame".

I'm not sure whether this should be changed or not. Initially it was very
obvious to me that the control inputs for pitch were wrong if set up in
the "normal" way. However, up until you mentioned it, I had never
considered that the roll inputs were also reversed.

Pilots transitioning to flexwings from "normal" aircraft often have
problems with the control bar. However, they only have problems with the
pitch control. In my early training, I myself reversed pitch inputs a
couple of times, but never roll.

I don't know why this is the case. It is possibly that it is easy to
visualize a virtual "stick" connected to the control bar, and therefore
making the movements required to angle that "stick" to the right for right
turns and to the left for left turns.

I will experiment with the required changes, and see if they feel any more
natural. It may be that they are simply too strange to use, but the more I
think of it, the more it seems obvious that they are wrong!
