Martin,
To be more precise F4U-7 is specific to French Air Navy, everything is
different. It is not a FAU which is close to Detlef Model (french navy had a
lot too).
I don't ask to put F4U-7 into cvs, that model does exist only to answer
French request.
That model is part of an on going project, i am working on, about French
Air Navy models aircraft and carriers:
Aircraft F-8E, F4U-7, Grumman F-6F5, AVenger, Fouga/Zephir,
SuperEtendard, Alize, Rafale .......
Helicoptere HSS-1, S-51 DragonFly.......
Carrier Foch, Arromanches, Bois Belleau, Charles de Gaulle,
.................
Every Aircraft are or will be JSBSim FDM.
Some models are done, others others under construction.
Anyhow, today, as said previously there not any official Carrier Feature into
JSBSim.
So, we must WAIT FOR these features before any decision, "include or not" the
French Navy Hangar. into cvs.
As previously said only one model is free to be into cvs, it does not need
carrier landing , it is the Nord-2502 Noratlas.
