I've been doing the same thing for FG and SG (and fgms if that
matters).
> time git-pull http://www.av8n.com/repo/fgs/.git origin:origin
> ## less than a minute
> time git-pull http://www.av8n.com/repo/fgs/.git sport:sport
I notice you're hosting git over http, which is usually much slower
than using git-daemon.
