thank you for the link. I am normally using fg-flightplanner and like it, but it covers only basic tasks, so I am very interested in this fplan/xfplan program, which looks pretty nice from the screenshots. But I need your or someone elses help due to my little (but growing :-) ) linux knowledge. When I try to run either xfplan or fplan there is always the complaint that libraries are missing: "./xfplan: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomeui.so.32: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" After an internet recherche I looked into the etc/ld.so.conf and found there there already is an entry for the path to "/opt/gnome/lib64" where the file "libgnomeui.so.32" is installed (better: a link to another file which seems to replace the libgnomeui.so.32). There was another hint to run the file with an option like "./fplan -R /opt/gnome/lib64" but this does not work, too. And there was a warning NOT to use the LD_LIBRARY_PATH option. What else can I do to get this program running? I had no problems until now to run 32bit programs with my OpenSUSE 10.2 64bit Linux. Thank you very much in advance, who ever can help me with that LINUX not FlightGear problem :-) Regards Georg EDDW ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
