That's great to hear that it's working well. I believe there was a reason, but it may be one of those special cases that someone will run into by accident somewhere down the line. Some of it may depend on which side has the better atmosphere model as to which one is more desirable, but if we on the JSBSim side model our own atmosphere we need to integrate better with the FlightGear side and allow the desired params to be controlled.
