I'm opposed to separate *-set.xml files for that at all, just like I'm against separate *-set.xml files for each livery. This just makes any aircraft list like $ fgfs --show-aircraft, or the selection in fgrun, or bash shell completion a pain to use. We have already more than enough set files if we have just one per aircraft.
