That sounds like a fine idea.
Some of the random objects stuff I'm working on may require changes to the data
tree that will be OSG-specific and probably not backwards-compatible with plib.
Also, I have a generic G-force red/blackout feature (no more spheres over the
pilot viewpoint!) available through the GUI, which again would be OSG-specific
and have no effect on plib.
Of course, if we're not planning to make any further plib releases, then there
is
no need for a PLIB data branch :) . However, I'd feel happier if we at least
leave ourselves the option of a PLIB patch release, if required.
