We're still experimenting with flight slaving (two fgfs instances, the
master sends flight data to the slave using the native protocol). 
 
Other than the stability concerns already discussed in other threads,
the most significant problem seems to be that some important data isn't
sent through the link.  For instance, flight controls aren't sent at
all (this would be crucial); neither is the flight time (which affects
at least day/night status, and we guess the dynamic scenery, too). 
 
Is there an accepted, already existing solution to this?  Or should we
be using a custom-designed protocol using the generic i/o system?  Or
are we simply "doing it wrong". :)
