Hi All,

While looking through the FG wiki, I noticed that someone (username "MILSTD")
has
been writing a whole bunch of "RFCs" on a variety of topics.

Some of these link to on-list discussions, but most are really just one persons
wish-list/opinion, as far as I can tell.

He/she has obviously put quite a lot of effort into them, but they don't (as far
as I can tell) represent anything that has been discussed in detail here, or
anything that is actually being implemented!

I hate to see peoples effort wasted, and I'm slightly concerned that people new
to the project might take these RFCs more seriously than they may merit.

In my opinion, the content of those RFCs really belong as discussions on-list.
Furthermore, they should be introduced by the author(s), so they can be
discussed
appropriately.

Anyone one want to reveal themselves?

If not, I wonder whether I should just move them to somewhere less prominent in
the wiki with a disclaimer, as they are currently more prominent than they
deserve to be, IMHO.

Any comments?

-Stuart

PS: Of course, because the wiki is anonymous, it could be that "MILSTD" is in
fact Curt, and this represents the current concensus view of the committers of
where we should be going. In which case I deserve to be slapped round the face
with a wet fish and told to go and stand in the corner wearing a dunce cap. ;)
