Now that PNG files are inserted in the CVS repository, I would like to point out that these files should be inserted as Binary files. Some, that are already there, are considered as text files, with LF expanded to CRLF for Windows users, and are corrupted. One example is data/Aircraft/bo105/Models/Textures/empty.png
I tried to change its binary status but : cvs admin -kb -- empty.png (in directory I:\Devel\fgfsbase\Aircraft\bo105\Models\Textures\) RCS file: /var/cvs/FlightGear-0.9/data/Aircraft/bo105/Models/Textures/empty.png,v cvs [admin aborted]: could not open lock file `/var/cvs/FlightGear-0.9/data/Aircraft/bo105/Models/Textures/,empty.png,': Permission denied or : cvs admin -kb -- oebh.png (in directory I:\Devel\fgfsbase\Aircraft\bo105\Models\Textures\Emblems) RCS file: /var/cvs/FlightGear-0.9/data/Aircraft/bo105/Models/Textures/Emblems/oebh.png,v cvs [admin aborted]: could not open lock file `/var/cvs/FlightGear-0.9/data/Aircraft/bo105/Models/Textures/Emblems/,oebh.png,': Permission denied So I would like owners to change the status themselves. On a more general note, it seems that every new directory in the CVS repository has permition problems that need to be fixed manually. I changed CVSROOT/cvswrappers to set binary attribute to future png additions.
