Okay, sorry that my previous mail was a bit short. I was going to add: It 
seems that in these cases, parts of code that are scheduled to be deprecated 
get moved into a new directory, which usually contains the initials of the 
originating author.

Since this usually is meant to represent a temporary situation only, I don't 
think this is an issue at all.
