Well, flight sims enable many things that are dangerous - and people use the sim in ways ranging from very realistic training devices to simply messing about for fun. So I'd want some wider agreement that modulating the use of ILS in this way doesn't cause confusion and/or problems. Anyway, I'm not about to make this change in the immediate time scale, but I'll keep it in my 'to consider' pile, and maybe support it as an 'opt-in' realism setting. (If people agreed, we could then make it opt- out). There's a few missing pieces of the puzzle to resolve first - notable an easy way to disable a Navaid.
