Let me emphrase that OSG is the way forward and there is no going back. Really.
That said, I did some updates to the 1.0 branch to get it in sync with the base package in CVS. It really was a trivial task and took no more than a few minutes. Whether there will be a 1.1 release or not is not for me to decided but doing such a release could provide a bit more time to the developers.
