Would you please have a look at the updated 'Protocol/fgcom.xml' file,
remove the last-but-one section:
<chunk>
<name>callsign</name>
<type>string</type>
<format>CALLSIGN=%s</format>
<node>/sim/multiplay/callsign</node>
</chunk>
.... and check if this makes any difference ?
