Yes, and these are already stored there. I've talked with Melchior and some others on this at IRC, and we agreed to place these files into $FG_ROOT/Sounds due to the following reasons: - these are used by more than a dozen of aircraft - p51d is not going to be included in the base package in 1.9.0 - we need to avoid duplicating the same files, as well as users' complaints about missing sounds. I left the original file names for clearly showing that these files are made for p51d. I believe it doesn't hurt anything, and is good to show the respect to the original author. This change requires some aircraft models (including p51d) to replace the paths of these with the ones in $FG_ROOT/Sounds. So I would like all authors of such aircraft model to update these paths. I'm mobile now so I'll list up the aircraft to be updated later. It's very helpful if anyone kindly lists these up for me. Ki-84 and j7w are already done. I also want to hear some better solutions (other than making new sounds for all these aircraft individually).
